This blog is about black and white photography. Black and white photography has always been my passion. I believe that a black and white image has more impact than a colour image.

Rambutans
Rambutans are seasonal fruits, which are popular among locals and tourists. The ripe fruits are usually covered with hairy red or yellow skin. The flesh that covers the seed is translucent white and juicy. Most of rambutans are sweet. If you visited Malaysia during rambutans season, you must try them.

Rambai
Rambai, nowadays are rare. I consider myself lucky to find them at a makeshift fruit stall near my place. This fruit consists of soft, sour, yellow skin. It's flesh is sweet and sour sticking to its seed. If you want to eat, you have to swallow the flesh and the seeds. I guess that is why the fruits are not popular among the locals -- it poses choking hazard to small children.
Personally, I prefer the sour skin. You can cook it with coconut milk and eat with white rice. Mmmmm.... yummy.
