Berries, Tekala River. 2008
As a little boy I used to collect ythis type of berries. The berries were bittery sweet. The juice from the berries makes your mouth turn purple. I those days I alway wonder how my mom and dad know I ate the berries. In those days I wondered.... now I know.

The sunlight was bright and the shadows were harsh. I love the play of shadows here coz it reminds me of batik pattern.

Mak Yah
Mak Yah, My old baby sitterMeet May Yah, my baby sitter (not now, 40 years ago). It's been a long time since the last time I saw her. Met her in Chukai market. So many things to tell and she never stop talking.

Our last trip back home (balik kampung) were the longest. Our car broke down near Temerloh and we had to spend overnight in the town.
