Rambai, nowadays are rare. I consider myself lucky to find them at a makeshift fruit stall near my place. This fruit consists of soft, sour, yellow skin. It's flesh is sweet and sour sticking to its seed. If you want to eat, you have to swallow the flesh and the seeds. I guess that is why the fruits are not popular among the locals -- it poses choking hazard to small children.
Personally, I prefer the sour skin. You can cook it with coconut milk and eat with white rice. Mmmmm.... yummy.
